- During the month of July, I participated in the course 'Contagion! Architecture and Epidemics' led by Andrea Bagnato and Ivan Munuera, where the impacts of global pandemics on architecture and vice versa were studied. During the course, case studies were developed regarding the urbanistic and architectural impacts of cholera in London, UK, and yellow fever in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

- I returned to the AA as a participant in the Autumn Semester Programme, during which I had the opportunity to take Studio, Material Metabolisms and Datascape courses, in which I respectively developed a project for the requalification of an underutilized industrial warehouse, conducted a study on the current state of sustainable architecture through Robert Venturi's book 'Learning from Las Vegas,' and created a parametric island in the Metaverse.

- Master's programme in Architecture Computation, where I explored the relation between technology and architecture through computational and data-driven methods, from machine learning applied to real estate and urban data to life cycle assessment and parametric design. I concluded the programme with a thesis on computational urban analysis for intensification strategies in the historic centre of São Paulo, combining urban morphology, land use data and social vulnerability indicators into a framework that identifies underused spaces and generates programmatic typologies for them. Along the way I also developed a machine learning tool that generates site-specific development recommendations for buildings in Copenhagen, took part in a two-week computational deployable structures workshop at Southeast University in Nanjing, and contributed to the school's installation at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, presented in collaboration with CITA, GXN and 3XN at the Arsenale.

Itaú-Unibanco

- Internship in the Special Projects and Project Management areas of one of Brazil's largest companies. Responsible for reviewing technical documentation from architecture and engineering firms prior to construction authorization, checking drawings against building, accessibility and fire safety norms, and for assessing the environmental and energy performance of buildings the bank was acquiring or leasing. I also supported the technical review of the new office towers under construction at the bank's São Paulo headquarters campus and built a VBA-powered Excel dashboard to track the corporate furniture inventory across locations, replacing a manual process and speeding up procurement for new fit-outs.

- Internship at the internationally recognized architecture firm, developing high-end residential projects in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro from preliminary studies through technical documentation. Responsibilities included project development and detailing, development and compatibilization of architectural drawings, BIM documentation in Revit, 3D modeling and rendering. I also carried out a zoning and feasibility study under São Paulo's master plan, determining buildable potential, apartment sizing and compliance with fire and elevator regulations, and ran environmental and daylight studies to inform early design decisions.

- Co-founder of an architectural visualization studio, where I managed more than ten clients, project scoping and delivery, and the hiring of staff. The studio produced architectural renders, humanized plans and visualizations to communicate residential and commercial designs to investors and end buyers, alongside architectural design for select client projects.

- Trainee in the Design team, working on real estate product development. Responsible for more than fifteen volumetric and numerical feasibility studies of large scale mixed use and residential buildings in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and Miami. The work involved analysing municipal master plans and land use law to determine development potential, sizing investment and return against buildable area, unit mix, price per square metre and parking, developing volumetric massing studies in Revit, and presenting the outcomes to developer clients.

- Internship and eventual transition to a full-time position as an architect in the internationally renowned architecture office. Involved in the areas of Creation and Development, I worked on high-end residential, hotel and mixed use projects across South America, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, responsible for project development, compatibilization of architectural drawings, parametric and 3D modeling, BIM coordination of structural, HVAC, electrical and lighting inputs into a single Revit model, and rendering. I also built a Grasshopper plugin in Python that generates bespoke staircases from a floor plan, cutting staircase modeling from days to around twenty minutes; it was presented in a studio workshop and adopted by colleagues across more than ten projects.

- Internship in the Responsible Business Conduct team, conducting human rights due diligence for corporate clients under the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines. I built a Human Rights Impact Assessment tool mapping more than forty salient risks across global supply chains and a salience-based scoring system that prioritizes risks by probability, scale and scope, reviewed the Code of Conduct of real estate investment managers against international standards, and produced supplier-facing resources, workshop materials and peer benchmarking analyses for clients. I also led an internal market study mapping the supply chains of more than twenty critical raw materials under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act to identify prospective clients and new ESG service lines.

- Project Assistant supporting consulting teams that deliver internationally funded infrastructure projects in water, energy and transport across emerging and developing economies, financed by development banks including the World Bank, EBRD, KfW and EIB. I author the climate risk and adaptation chapters of project reports following JASPERS and EBRD climate-proofing guidance, build geospatial databases and cartographic material in QGIS, review engineering designs under FIDIC Yellow Book arrangements, and contribute to the technical and methodology sections of competitive international tenders, including assembling bid teams and developing a pricing tool to test the financial viability of tender configurations. I also joined a field mission across Baku's water supply system, assessing asset condition and technical, social, environmental and human rights risks through site inspections and interviews, and engaging national water agencies on rehabilitation priorities.
